M Thomas Gammarino is the author of the novels King of the Worlds (Chin Music Press 2016) and Big in Japan: A Hungry Ghost Story (Chin Music Press 2009), and the novella Jellyfish Dreams (Amazon Kindle Single 2012). His short fiction has appeared in Jack London is Dead: Contemporary Euro-American Poetry of Hawai'i (And Some Stories) (Tinfish Press 2013), the Hawai'i ReviewThe New York Tyrant, Dzanc Books' Best of the WebWord Riot, and elsewhere. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School and a Ph.D in English from the University of Hawaii and spent a year as a Fulbright Fellow in Creative Writing at Kyoto's Doshisha University. In 2014, he won the Elliot Cades Award for Literature, Hawaii's highest literary honor. These days he teaches English at Punahou School in Honolulu, HI. Meanwhile, somehow, he has three kids.
