Last semester I taught a class on Science Fiction and another on Modernism. They had more in common than I might have thought, so I wrote an article about that. This morning, that article was published by OMNI (especially fitting since that’s the name of the superintelligence-with-a-God-complex in my new novel, King of the Worlds).

And a couple of months back I published this one, “The Science Fiction of Music,” in Entropy.

“The Science Fiction of Music”: What Prog Rock Owes to SF (and Probably Not Vice-Versa): A Sort-of Timeline

Check ’em out if you’re interested in this sort of stuff (you must be, or you wouldn’t be here, right?).
